Amaridian USA/Heath Nash featured in Metropolitan Home's September 2008 issue

and South African designer Heath Nash are featured in the September 2008 Metropolitan Home section of "The Goods." Nash, known for using recycled plastic bottles and other objects to create new objects, has created a series of multi-colored pendant lamps as part of his Other People's Rubbish series. Amaridian(the symbolic combination of two words - the Zulu word "Amadlozi" meaning "ancestral spirits" and the word "meridian" the imaginary lines that transverse the globe) is one of the very few galleries in the United States that is decided to art of African disapora more specifically South Africa. Located in the trendy area SoHo, the gallery houses more goodies by Nash as well as others. Be sure to pick up the magazine as well as visit Amaridian soon in order more of Nash's works.
