What is Bauhaus?





Bauhaus is the most famous modern art school on which so many others have since been modelled. It open in Germany in 1919 and was closed by the Nazis in 1933. Highly influential in the fields of architecture and design. Tried to teach the virtures of simple, clean design; abstraction ; mass production; the moral and economic benefits of a well-designed environment; democracy and worker participation.
