"Power stations are both numerous and massive in their structure, and yet, they lie on the periphery of our landscapes and on the edge of our consciousness."
-- Tobias Smith
PRIVATE VIEW FEBRUARY 12th (6-9PM)
EXHIBITION FEBRUARY 13th - 24th
Tenderpixel is most pleased to present photographer Tobias Smith's recent critical work, Light after Dark, a new series of photographs exploring the alienating architecture of Britain's power stations. Throughout 2008, Smith made repeat visits to all of the 32 major power stations of England. Over a year in the making, this ambitious project is both an aesthetic and conceptual 're-visioning' of energy. This series has recently been chosen as a Reportage Feature Presentation through Getty Images. Smith is an MA Photography graduate of the LCC,
University of the Arts London (2008).
