FINAL WEEK for "Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night"



Please, please please go and check out this exhibition before it leaves MOMA on January 5th 2009. I have the honor and privilege of working on the Van Gogh show when it was in residence at The High Museum and every piece is absolutely breathtaking. The exhibition is broken up into a number of scenes: early landscapes, peasant life, sowers and wheatfields, poetry of the night (the town) and poetry of the night (the country).The New York Times says of Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night, "In exploring how [Van Gogh] used color to convey the effects of darkness onto a canvas it offers insights into a new dimension of his genius."
