If one word could ever describe the artistry and beauty of Barkley L. Hendricks works if would that of "cool." In his first ever career retrospective, Philidelphian born Hendricks is best known for his life-sized portraits depicting urban people from the urban northeast. His work expands from 1964 to present and still speaks to a wide audience today.
